About Ms. Weir

Hello! My name is Kahlan Weir (Ms. Weir to my students). Welcome to my teaching portfolio and writer website; on this site, you will find a variety of information from my education credentials and experience (ranging from hybrid to traditional to virtual teaching experiences), lesson plan examples from my time teaching, as well as information about my second passion (which is, of course, writing).

I am a certified ELA teacher for grades 6-12 in Michigan. My free-time is often spent with either a book or pen in my hand. I believe deeply in adding diversity to not only my life, but to my classroom, and view equity as a requirement for educators to help their students succeed.
