About Me

Kahlan Weir is a word-obsessed writer, reader, and ELA teacher. Her greatest passions include: writing and reading obnoxious amounts of fantasy (young adult AND adult), debating word meanings, and trying to share her knowledge with anyone who will listen. 

Kahlan has a weak spot for magic systems, medieval worlds, and swoon-worthy love interests, but outside of writing loves her guitars, way-too-many pets, and spending time with her lovably crazy family.

Though Kahlan always has more dreams around the corner, she is currently in the work on a series known as The Prince’s Honor Guard (check “WIPs” tab for more information) and a super-secret information-spreading project hopefully ready to go live soon.
